Plot (Spoilers Ahead!)[]

The episode begins with Olive and Otto walking to their odd case. Otto is talking about Soundcheck's latest concert, and how he's disappointed that he missed it. Olive is still vocal about her dislike towards them, and promises to make a list about it when they get back to headquarters.

Finally, they head over to the woman with her odd problem. Except, there's nothing really odd happening with Nicole, as she says. She tries to get the agents to fix her, but Olive sees through her act, and asks what's really wrong. Nicole says Odd Squad has come to fix her friends' odd problems, and wanted to feel included. Olive replies she can hang out with them anytime. Elated, Jennifer, her real name, then takes a selfie with the two of them.

Inside headquarters, Olive and Otto arrive back from the tubes, preemptively greeted by Owen and some other security agents. Owen then vaguely threatens Olive, confusing her, then he and the other agents grab her. Owen states Olive has been accused...of causing oddness?! Rightfully bewildered, Olive and Otto argue about it, when Ms. O comes in and silences them. Ms. O details that, allegedly, Olive shrunk the town museum and stole it. If this happens to be true, Olive will be kicked off Odd Squad. Thankfully, Ms. O had called for a trial to plead Olive's case. So, the now confused Otto and the now accused and confused Olive head to the trial court...

…Which happens to be in the main headquarters. Ms. O reveals that she is the judge, and the person who accused Olive of causing oddness is none other than Odd Todd, who arrives in right on cue. Olive immediately suspects he stole the museum, but proving her innocence will be the real struggle first.

Ms. O, now dressed as a stereotypical judge, starts the trial. The trial's jury is the youngest of the agents, the babies, because the younger you are, the fairer you are (?). Firstly, Odd Todd is set to begin his argument. Todd presents the Agent of Month Award, it's obviously awarded to the agent who solved the most cases that month. The agents in the running for that month were Olive and Orson. Orson was going to beat Olive, but in an act of desperation, she shrunk the town museum and stole it just to get one more case to win the trophy. In addition, Todd also points that Olive doesn't like babies and the babies cry.

Olive denies that possibility, but Odd Todd presents more proof he's gathered. He's hauls in a giant clock diagram to better explain it. Odd Todd claims the museum was stolen between the hours of 1 :00 and 2:00 . And that was the period where Olive was on lunch break, and stole the museum during then. Olive still fiercely denies that ever being the case, but Otto brings her down to earth; they have to actually prove she couldn't have committed the crime during the allotted time. And how will they do that?

Otto calls upon Olive's first witness: Coach Roberts. Otto asks Coach if he saw Olive at all during the day. Coach Roberts states Olive was with him for javelin practice during her lunch hour. Looks like open and shut case, but Odd Todd interrupts, and questions the coach when javelin practice specifically started and ended. Turns out, it had only ended at 1:30, Coach Roberts only ending it to go see Soundcheck's latest concert. With this info, that still, supposedly, gave Olive plenty of time to steal the town museum.

Olive profusely claims she innocent, when Octavia strides in unexpectedly. She wanted to get a pencil from her desk. But, she realizes everyone else is in the middle of the trial, so she awkwardly exits out. Getting back on track, Otto testifies for his partner, claiming she would never ever cause oddness. Todd surprisingly agrees, nobody knows Olive better than her partner, as she says. That's when he calls Olive's first partner to the stand...himself.

Todd then presents his testimony...to himself, stating how Olive would very much like to run her own Odd Squad one day. Todd agrees that becoming a Ms. O would require solving an excellent amount of cases. This begs the fact that Olive, wanting to solve one extra case, might have been willing to shrink the museum and solve it herself. Now with this, Otto tells Olive they need to prove she was somewhere else between 1:30 and 2:00 now.

Otto then calls upon their next witness: Polly Graph. Polly states Olive came over to her lemonade stand at 1:30 to order a cup of lemonade. Todd, again interrupts and asks Polly to make a glass of lemonade for him. She does, and it takes about 15 minutes exactly. Todd then makes a verdict that Olive still could have stolen the town museum all within 15 minutes. The trial is really putting Olive on the hot seat now, with Odd Todd already declaring with victory. To be continued...

The next part begins with Todd pleading to Ms. O to just kick Olive off the squad already since she can't prove where she was between 1:45 and 2:00. Olive then realizes 1:00 to 2:00 was her lunch break, so she obviously had to have eaten lunch. So, Otto calls for their next witness: Oscar.

Oscar takes the stand and says he and Olive had eaten pizza together on their lunch break. This proves that Olive was busy eating lunch during 1:45 to 2:00. Odd Todd, just like before, presents his evidence. He pulls out a menu from Delivery Debbie's Pizzeria (the place where Oscar and Olive ate at) and tells Oscar to read what's on the bottom. It says, "Pizza will be delivered to your table in one minute or less." So, of course, Oscar and Olive couldn't have waited very long for their pizza. Plus, combining the time it took to eat, (it only took seconds to eat the pizzas since they were bite-sized but Todd decided to tack on 4 extra minutes because he's just a great guy) that took five minutes for Olive's lunch break and steal ten minutes to steal the museum.

Otto then objects, saying there's no real evidence linking Olive to the stolen museum. That's when Todd objects himself and shows a video of Olive clearly shrinking the museum and then stealing it and declaring that she doesn't like babies. Otto then asks for a break, otherwise known as recess.

Olive and Otto are now outside, sitting together on a swing set. Still, Olive pleads to her partner she didn't commit the crime, and the person in the video was just a phony, possibly the Shapeshifter. But, they still have to prove the Shapeshifter and Odd Todd were likely responsible. Otto asks where Olive was during those last ten minutes. Olive doesn't answer clearly, she believes if she did, it would change everything between her and Otto. Otto tells his partner, his friend that nothing she shares with him could ever ruin their friendship. So, Olive whispers it into his ear. Before, we get to hear it though, the recess bell is called.

Otto is back in the court room, showing Ms. O a freckle of his that resembles a shark. Odd Todd notices that Otto is clearly stalling. He continues to stall by playing bird sounds. And he's right, for Otto has called upon a surprise witness. Danny T from Soundcheck. Otto then details about Soundcheck's latest concert. Otto himself wasn't able to attend, but he's glad someone did in his place. And that someone was...Agent Olive, the girl who's profoundly hated Soundcheck since the very start. This is an astounding revelation to everyone, but Otto continues, asking Danny how the whole concert lasted. Danny answers they sang two songs, one 3 minutes, and one 6 minutes. This brings the time to 1:59 now, but Todd still believes Olive could've stolen the museum in one minute.

What also took one minute was Soundcheck's encore of their brand new song. To which he demonstrates with Olive singing a duet. It takes exactly one minute, which ultimately rounds the time back to 2:00. The baby jury and Ms. O then declare Agent Olive innocent. Shapeshifts shifts back into herself from Todd's briefcase, and ditches the town museum. Shapeshifter shifts into a jetpack around Todd, allowing for their escape. Though, with the case finally solved, everyone jumps in mid-air ending in a freeze frame.

After that, a credits scene follows, detailing that Otto kept playing Soundcheck songs until Olive wound up not liking them again, Ms. O kept her wig, Owen still thinks Olive did it and so does the stenographer, plus a random security agent thinks he did it, and Danny T still remains frozen in mid-air to this day.

Trivia[]

  • According to Joshua Kilimnik, this episode was originally supposed to be one single part instead of two parts, but was later doubled in length and re-filmed to include the added scenes (one of which was the entire bit with Oscar).
    • This is why Otto's haircut seems to change between camera shots.
