Plot[]

The episode begins with Olympia and Otis helping a man with his odd problem. Whenever he takes a sip of his orange juice, an identical version of him brushes his teeth so tastes disgusting. To fix this, Otis gives him a tube of orange flavored toothpaste, so it'll taste the same.

In the lab, Olympia and Otis are returning their gadgets but Oscar refuses. Suddenly, Oona runs in and returns the gadgets herself, as Oscar is training her to do. Ms. O then randomly appears beside them; she explains that she's been selected to make a commercial to promote Odd Squad for other kids to join. She asks Oscar who's made it before, but he's too busy training Oona. Otis offers to film the whole ad himself, because he's always wanted to make a movie. Oscar pleadingly warns Otis not to accept, as Ms. O is notoriously difficult to work with. Otis affirms that if he can handle celery, he can handle her.

Olympia goes off to set up for the big screening for the commercial, while Otis is filming. The movie itself only needs to be half a minute in length, or thirty seconds. Oscar now calls for Oona, who runs in again, now prepped as if it's the apocalypse. The two stride over to a vent in to wall, which opens up. Oscar explains they're going to hide in the bunker until after the filming is done, if there's anything left. Then, Orchid appears next to Otis, carrying a bunch of movie-making equipment. She's going to help him film, but mostly to get a front-row seat to the train wreck that's to follow.

The first take for the commercial is in Ms. O's office, but when Otis starts the recording, Ms. O walks off camera. Otis politely tells Ms. O she should inform him about what she's going to do. The next take, Ms. O speaks to the camera and says, "Walk to camera." and does the ladder, her face appearing incredibly blurry. Otis prematurely stops the video, and goes to talk to Orchid. With that horrific first take, they can only use about five seconds in the ad, which leaves twenty five seconds left to go. Ms. O wants to film in the Creature Room next, so they go to set up shop there.

For the next chunk of the ad, Ms. O is explaining to the viewers what the Creature Room is, when she opens the hatch for one of the dinosaurs habitats. Otis screams while the video still going, so they can't use much.

A little later, the group's conducting an interview with Dr. O to mix things up. When she asks Ms. O the questions though, she just whispers it into Doc's ear, making it inaudible. Otis needs to be able to hear Ms. O, but she says to him, that's between her and Dr. O. Otis can only use about another two seconds from the "interview," and three seconds form the Creature Room, so only twenty-three seconds left of video. Otis and Orchid both agree this ad was a terrible idea. While they're talking, Ms. O believes the film could use more action, and hurries them along to the next scene.

Fifteen hours later, they return back to headquarters. Counting the time the spent in the cave, with the lumberjack, and in the savannah, they've acquired fifteen seconds of film, now with only five seconds till the end of this misadventure. But, Ms. O is sound asleep at her desk, not able to film anymore. For a backup plan, Otis uses Ms. O like a marionette, with strings and everything. With a feeble imitation of Ms. O's voice, he does a five second send off to the assumed viewers.

Fifteen more hours later, a giant projector in set up in the main hall. Olympia and Otis start the commercial. What is seen is are clips of Ms. O crudely spliced together, giving a vague idea of what Odd Squad is supposed to be. Ms. O yells at Otis for messing up the video. Ms. O then states that Odd Squad is a very special place, its a place where everyone is equal, and where they belong to. Its where kids save the day every day, and its a place where everyone is a part of something. Olympia hits the stopwatch. Thirty seconds exactly. They've finally got the real commercial, tricking Ms. O into doing it for them. Ms. O is impressed with their ingenuity and Otis' great directing. Olympia cues the fireworks, and a whole show of them go off in cerebration.

Oona and Oscar are still situated in their bunker. Oscar wonders if it's safe to come out, so he and Oona go to check. They look outside, see the fireworks, and swiftly shrink back inside, thus ending the episode.
