Plot[]

The episode begins Olympia and Otis asking a woman what her odd problem is. She is trying to get ready for work in the mirror, but her reflection isn't matching her. Otis says that he and Olympia can't fix this, but Olympia does know someone who can. Olympia talks to her own reflection, and mirror version Olympia tells the mirror version of the woman to get ready. Odd problem solved, Olympia and Otis leave, but not before the another mirror version starts acting out again.

Back at headquarters, Olympia and Otis arrive in Ms. O's office in response to something very odd happening. Ms. O shows them an image of the town museum covered in jam, meaning Jamie Jam is back in town. Ms. O then plays a clip of Jamie mocking Odd Squad that they can't catch her. Before Jamie jammed the museum she sent a note listing two letters: Y and W, which Otis believes to be a coded message. And then after that, she sent the same message but with an X in between, which is likely the address Jamie will strike next.

None of Ms. O's code breakers (which happen to be genius kittens) can crack it, so Ms. O tasks her two agents with tracking down the best code breaker on the Squad, or formerly on the squad: Agent Todd. Olympia reiterates the fact that Todd became Odd Todd and tried to destroy Odd Squad, but Otis tells her people can change. Todd hadn't caused oddness for a long time (possibly because of the big showdown at the end of season 1) and became a gardener instead.

Somewhere on Oak Street, Todd is happily with some gardeners in a large garden. He praises the other gardeners before going to work on his own patch. Olympia and Otis appear in the garden and ask Todd if he can lend his code-breaking skills. Todd angrily ushers the two to leave him alone, insisting he's not an agent, he's not a villain, he's just a gardener now. Olympia and Otis then start to mess with Todd's produce, just to get him to comply. It works.

Olympia pulls up her tablet watch and shows Todd both codes Jamie Jam sent them. Like clockwork, Todd claims he's solved it and explains Jamie hit 23 Oak Street. Each letter stands for a number: 2 for Y and 3 for W. Knowing that, they can predict where on Oak Street Jamie will hit. Todd guesses X stands for another number, so all the available options would be on 203 to 293 on Oak Street, but not 223 or 233 because Y and W already cover those numbers. Odd Todd then pressures Olympia and Otis to leave, and the two thank him for his help.

After staking out the eight houses, (with help from the genius kittens) nothing happens. Olympia's badge phone starts to ring, and she obsesses over how she should answer. She takes too long however, and then Otis' badge starts ringing which he immediately answers. Ms. O informs them Jamie struck nowhere near where they are. Olympia suspects Odd Todd tricked them and he's working with Jamie. Ms. O quashes her suspicion because the place Jamie hit was Todd's garden.

Olympia and Otis soon arrive at Todd's jammed up garden. Olympia spots another code on the ground which reads "Y x Y," similar to the last codes. Todd's ready to help them, because this became personal, now sporting his white-streaked hair and performing his impish laugh. They already know Y stands for two, but the X is still a mystery. Otis suggests the X may be a multiplication sign, meaning they have to times the two numbers. 2 times 2 is four, so that is the street number Jamie will hit next.

The three of them run over to the correct street, where Olympia and Otis stop Jamie in the act of jamming. Otis thanks Todd for his help again, but not before Todd holds the Toast-Inator Olympia used to stop Jamie. Todd regales he could make so much oddness with it. Olympia utters "Once a villain, always a villain" before Otis disagrees and says people can change.

Otis calls out to Todd, reminding him how happy he was as a gardener and how his garden won't be the same if he's not there. He pulls out the tomato Todd handed him earlier and bites into it, saying it's the finest vegetable he's ever seen. Todd says tomatoes are a fruit, before fainting into Otis' arms. Olympia commends her partner for the noble act, and Todd graciously thanks Otis as well.

Back at Todd's garden, Jamie is now gardening with the other gardeners, and Olympia and Otis head over to Todd. Todd wonders if he's seen Otis somewhere else before, while Otis replies he just has one of those faces. Todd looks up and spots dark clouds, guessing rain is coming. The episode ends with Todd declaring it'll be perfect for his asparagus.
